During the 60s, PBI-Gordon sensed the needs of a new market for professional turf and ornamental solutions, leading to the development of Gordon’s line of products made specifically for golf courses and other landscaping applications.
Currently, the Gordon’s line also includes more than 40 tested products, from tried and true favorites such as the herbicide Trimec, to cutting-edge crop protection products such as Segway Fungicide and Katana Turf Herbicide.

Selective herbicides for broadleaf weeds: Gordon Professional’s Avenue South, for example, is an herbicide formulated to quickly and effectively control broadleaf weeds in the south’s warm weather, including in sensitive southern grass varieties that are susceptible to damage by other herbicides. The Avenue South formula is designed for fast and clean action. This selective herbicide effectively controls clover, dollarweed, spurge, and Virginia buttonweed, as well as more than 90 species of broadleaf weeds that plague southern fields and lawns.
Selective herbicides for ornamentals: Barrier Ornamental Landscaping provides effective control of both annual and perennial weed types in landscaping, including dandelion, crabgrass, bluegrass, ragweed, lambsquarter and others. This product is intended for application to non-crop fields, lawns, and landscapes. It is suitable for use in hospital lawns, sports fields, cemeteries, condos, etc.
Non-selective herbicides: GlyphoMate 41 is a glyphosate-based broad spectrum herbicide that prevents the growth of weeds that have grown above the water line in areas surrounded by water, as well as more than 200 species of broadleaf and grassy weeds, with no restrictions on its application to waters used for irrigation, recreational or household purposes.
